Honours and Awards
The RSPSoc has the authority to award Honorary Membership and Professional Membership (Fellowship, Associate Fellowship) to individuals of prominence in the field, and has also gained recognition through the Queen’s Honours list. Each year, a series of RSPSoc Awards are made for general contributions to the field and to the Society, for publications in the Society’s journals and conferences, and for outstanding student theses. Travel Bursaries are also awarded to student members in support of conference presentations and fieldwork.

Travel awards:
Applications for Travel Bursaries are considered for travel which supports the aims of the Society, especially towards part of the costs of student and younger members of the Society who are presenting papers at international conferences. Varying sums from £75 – £250 are available.
