Technical Committees
The work of Council is assisted by a series of Technical Committees, which both provide advice and implement Council decisions. Council has the power to appoint Committees to assist it in its work and delegates powers, as may be necessary, provided that the overall responsibility of Council to the members of the Society is not compromised. The Technical Committees and their Terms of Reference are detailed below.

RSPSoc members, who are not on Council, are encouraged to consider supporting the Society by helping with Committee work. If you would like to join one of the Society’s Technical Committees, please, in the first instance contact: Karen Laughton (Executive Secretary) at the Society’s office (email: ) to discuss further. Karen will then put you in touch with the respective Committee Chairman.
