General Information
Technical meetings and workshops form the backbone of the Society’s annual technical programme and are one of the most prominent aspects of the Society’s activities.
The Technical Meetings and Workshops held by the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society are designed to bring its members together for formal and informal exchanges of research and ideas. In this respect, the technical meetings programme represents one of the most prominent features of the Society’s activities on behalf of its membership. The technical meetings programme also represents an important source of income for the Society that assists it to keep membership fees to a minimum. For each meeting, the design of the programme, attraction of attendees and provision of technical and catering facilities are entrusted to the local organiser. However, support and guidance on all aspects of organising the meetings will be provided by the Society through the Technical Programme Committee and the Society’s Nottingham office.
