Mike Barnsley Lecture and Conversazione

RSPSoc and UCL are pleased to announce an evening event in memory of the late Professor Mike Barnsley. The evening will begin with a Lecture from former colleagues outlining some of the groundbreaking contributions Professor Barnsley made to the Earth observation research community, and how that work is being taken forward. This will be followed by a Conversazione with buffet and wine refreshments, and tributes to Professor Barnsley. We look forward to welcoming Mike’s many friends and colleagues from across the discipline and beyond for this evening of celebration.

The registration fee is £25. This fee will cover the catering costs.
Any resulting surplus will be donated to the Mike Barnsley Memorial Fund for Cancer Research and Footsteps. Deadline for registration is 21st May 2008.
