Sensing and Mapping the Marine Environment 3

The one-day symposium will bring together the special interests of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc) and Challenger Society for Marine Science (CSMS) through the RSPSoc/CSMS jointly affiliated ocean colour SIG.

• Marine remote sensing: ocean colour, SAR, altimetry and Sea Surface Temperature.
• Video imagery: above and below the water.
• Marine optics and acoustics.
• Integration and data visualisation.
GIS applications.

You are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentation by the 22 June 2007. Abstracts, not exceeding 300 words, should be submitted to Dr Samantha Lavender by email ( ) or by post (Marine Institute / SEOES, PSQ A403, University of Plymouth, Drake Circus, Plymouth, PL4 8AA, UK).

Location: The symposium is being held at The Geological Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London. See http://www.geolsoc.org.uk/gsl/society/contact. Will be using the main entrance situated on Piccadilly.
