Wiki

A Wiki is a collaborative on-line space where people can gather to build content together and is intended for general public consumption. Wikis encourage participation and a strong sense of common purpose; in the case for educating people in remote sensing and photogrammetry thereby developing valuable communication and teamwork skills. Using wikis supports asynchronous communication allowing learners to contribute at a time, and from a place that suits them.

Wikis are a useful tool for facilitating on-line learning groups. They can be used to support the dissemination of information, exchanging ideas, and to facilitate group interaction. Further, wikis can be used to create a set of documents that reflect the shared knowledge of the learning group. Class wikis include text, pictures, links to other resources and multimedia.

A wiki is an intended source of contribution for the members, and by the members acting as an important community tool;. Articles are added, categorized and modified by the community and enables users to share knowledge with others. We encourage you to post resources on the wiki and to help expand and clarify existing resources.

Please remember: Talk pages are for discussion, whereas article modifications and enhancements should be done directly in the article itself. The Wiki is currently under construction and generated within ExpressionEngine, click the image below to access the Education Wiki.
