The Science and Technology Facilities Council KITE Club is a people based activity that has the aim of forging stronger relationships between Council researchers, industry and other academic disciplines. For many years image interpretation has been a main focus of research at IPI, the Institute of Photogrammetry and GeoInformation. In national and international co-operations we develop novel methods for the acquisition and update of topographic objects from aerial and satellite images.
