Surv 1968 and PhD 1971 Uni of NSW Research Surveyor National Mapping Dept Canberra 1971-74 Academic University of Newcastle from 1975, Chair of Photogrammetry from 1991, Head of School of Engineering 2002-2004 President Technical Comm V of ISPRS 1992-96 Member Board of Surveyors of NSW 1988-92, 1996-2000, 2003-present, Convenor Training Committee since 2004 Consultant to Police and other private organisations on forensic photogrammetry. Published 200 papers, conference proceedings, etc on surveying and photogrammetry
