MAT SIG Annual Report 2007-2008
In the last year, a special focus issue of Photogrammetric Engineering and Remote Sensing (August 2007) was published containing papers linked to a successful MAT SIG session held at the Society’s Annual Conference in Cambridge. It was hoped to maintain the momumtum derived from this session and contribute to the event organised mainly by the Geological, Radar and Vegetation SIGs in London but, as noted elsewhere, this meeting was postponed. On a more positive note, Tristan Quaife (University College London) has very kindly agreed to take over the leadership of MAT SIG. He will hopefully be able to provide a fresh impetus to the SIG and develop an exciting programme of activity.
