NAPLIB SIG Annual Report 2002-2003
The 2002 NAPLIB Annual Conference took place at RAF Cosford on 24-25 May last year.
This conference marked the end of Derek Edwardsterm as Chair of the Association during which the NAPLIB Directory of Aerial Photography of the United Kingdom (Second Edition) was published and the NAPLIB Annual Conference had become established as a highly successful two-day event, rather than the one-day meetings of the previous 12 years. The Conference also marked the retirement of Hon.Treasurer John Henry, of Ove Arup and Partners.
Chris Going, of The GeoInformation Group, was elected Chair, along with Kevin McLaren, of the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of Scotland, as Hon. Secretary. Sharon Bishop continued in post as the Hon, Treasurer for a further year.
The Executive Committee of NAPLIB has met twice during the last year, on 8 November 2002 and 04 February 2003, when the principle business was the negotiation of terms of entry as a Special Interest Group of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetric Society, an aim that was achieved on 1 April 2003.
As an introductory offer to colleagues within the RSPSoc, the Executive Committee of NAPLIB has also made the NAPLIB Directory of Aerial Photography of the United Kingdom (Second Edition) available at the special all-inclusive price of £15 a saving of £5 on the current price!

The 2003 NAPLIB Annual Conference will be held at the Headquarters of the Ordnance Survey, Southampton on 6-7 June and all members of the RSPSoc are welcome to attend at special NAPLIB Members Rates
