Letter of Invitation - 2009 Carl Pulfrich Award
The prestigious Carl Pulfrich Award was announced in February 2009. The deadline for submitting applications is July 1st, 2009 and is approaching very fast (only 3 weeks ahead of us!).
I would like to address you for encouraging more colleagues to submit a sufficient number of nominations.
Nominees will be considered on the basis of experience, activities in the field of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and contributions to the advancements of all aspects of the Earth imaging field. Applied work involving hardware systems, software solutions, so innovative service activities will be considered by the Carl Pulfrich Award Committee.
As you may also know, the Carl Pulfrich Award 2009 is bestowed within the 100th Anniversary of the Photogrammetric Week, which was launched by Carl Pulfrich, and is therefore a very special event.
