RSPSoc Annual Conference 2008 Update
Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society Annual Conference 15-17 SEPTEMBER 2008

We are pleased to announce the call for papers for the RSPSoc 2008 conference, to be held at the University of Exeter, Cornwall Campus during 15-17 September 2008.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION OPENS on 9 MARCH.

The theme of the conference is, “measuring change in the Earth system”, which will attract researchers and practitioners from across the disciplines of remote sensing and photogrammetry. The conference will include technical sessions on a range of scientific, commercial and technical themes, including:
- Earth system science applications: oceans, geology, soil, freshwater, vegetation;
- Climate change monitoring and modelling;
- Airborne photogrammetry;
- LiDAR, laser scanning and close range applications;
- Data assimilation, uncertainty, calibration/validation;
- Classification, object-based image analysis, super-resolution mapping;
- Student forum.

- 30 April 2008 : Notification of acceptance to authors
- 30 June 2008 : Deadline for camera ready copy of manuscripts
