RSPSoc Students - Message from Student Rep.
Dear RSPSoc students
I hope all is well in the run up to Christmas. There are two meetings that are of interest happening in the new year
- A student workshop on ‘the measurement of forest biomass using Synthetic Aperture Radar’ will be held on the 12th and 13th of January 2010 in the Geography Department, University of Leicester. The purpose of this workshop is for students using this technique in various parts of the world to come together to discuss and compare their methods and results. If you are interested please e-mail Matt Waldram at msw13@le.ac.uk
- Secondly the RSPSoc Annual Student Meeting is taking place on the 15-17th March 2010. The meeting is being held at the Mount Batten Activity Centre in Plymouth. A website for this meeting is available for further information http://www.rspsoc2010asm.webs.com/ or alternatively contact Bob Brewin (robert.brewin@plymouth.ac.uk)
Seasons greetings and I hope to see you at these meetings in the new year
Best wishes
Your student representative
Bob Brewin
